Condition reports are necessary for several reasons 

• the conservation/restoration needs of works of art 
• to monitor collections
• for paintings and sculptures going on loan to exhibitions
• to check the condition and authenticity of paintings which are offered on the marked prior to purchase

Idemnity Reports

Insurance damages are documented in detail.

The estimate of damages and the cost of appropriate restoration measures are assessed.
